London social club for women 30+
ABOUT TSC

The Shenanigans Club is a diverse London social club for women 30+ who want genuine connections, new experiences and more from their social lives. We believe in quality over quantity. That’s why our meet-ups are intentionally kept small… usually around 10–20 women, depending on the experience. This gives you more opportunity to talk, connect and genuinely get to know the women you meet. From brunches and activities to day trips and new experiences, TSC is about stepping outside your comfort zone, trying something different and giving yourself something to look forward to.Because there is no age by which you were supposed to have experienced everything. Whether it’s your first time or your fiftieth, you belong in the experience. For us, a successful meet-up isn’t about how many women were in the room. It’s about how you felt, who you connected with, what you experienced and the Core Memories you took home with you.Ready to make your next Core Memory?
MEET THE FOUNDER

ZION MURRELL
Founder, The Shenanigans Club
The idea for TSC really started in summer 2023. I was out more, meeting different people and having conversations with women from all walks of life and I kept hearing versions of the same things:“I don’t really have friends.”
“My friends live too far away.”
“I hardly go out anymore.”
“I’ve had bad experiences with female friendships.”
“I’m always with my kids, so I don’t really get much time to go out.”After hearing it so many times, I remember thinking, there are actually a lot of women feeling like this.Everyone’s circumstances were different, but there was this common thread of women wanting more from their social lives and not always knowing where to start.

And honestly, that was it. Nothing complicated. I just wanted to bring some women together, plan something for us to do and see what came from it.By November 2023, I’d given the idea a name: The Shenanigans Club.I started putting it into action in 2024 and, at first, it really was my little pilot… like, let me try this and see where it goes. Then I hosted the first meet-up. Then the second. I started getting feedback from the women who came along and realised, okay… I actually have a social club here. And the best part was, I genuinely enjoyed doing it.Before TSC, I’d experienced different social groups myself. Some would have 50, sometimes even 100+ people attending. It looked amazing seeing that many people together, but I also noticed what was happening around the room. Not everybody was connecting. You’d sometimes see someone sitting by themselves, on their phones, people sticking to the people they already knew, or someone ready to leave not long after arriving. That stayed with me.Of course, seeing something you’ve created grow is amazing and yes, being compensated for the time and work that goes into it matters too. But I never wanted numbers to be the only way I measured whether TSC was doing well. For me, I always come back to how did the women actually feel?Did they enjoy themselves?
Did they speak to someone new?
Did they feel comfortable enough to get involved?
Did they leave feeling more social than when they arrived? Most of the time, I can look back at a TSC meet-up and genuinely say yes.One of my favourite things is still seeing a woman arrive completely on her own (nervous or confident) and then watching her settle in, start talking, exchange numbers and sometimes go on to make plans with women she met through TSC.That’s the bit that warms my heart every single time. And that’s why I’m still here… building TSC, still growing, still learning and still creating connections.
UPCOMING MEET-UPS
We host just 5–6 main meet-ups each year. So when the next one drops… drop it like it’s hot & book your spot.

WHAT OUR ATTENDEES SAY
TSC COMMUNITY WHATSAPP
A quicker way to stay connected between meet-ups

Our WhatsApp Community is where you can keep up with new meet-ups, Save the Dates, announcements and important TSC updates without having to constantly check the website or social media.
QUIET DOESN’T MEAN INACTIVE 🧡
The Community can be quiet at times… that’s completely normal. A quiet WhatsApp doesn’t mean nothing is happening at TSC. We don’t post simply to keep the chat busy, and there’s no expectation for you to be talking every day or every week.Want to know what’s coming up? You’re always welcome to ask. For the latest meet-ups, check the TSC website and keep an eye on your emails and Eventbrite too.
GET INVOLVED
You don’t have to wait for TSC to start every conversation. Fancy a coffee, exhibition, walk or something else? Pop it in the Community and see who’s up for it.The Community is for women who genuinely want to participate, connect and get involved… not just add another WhatsApp group to their roster of groups they never join IRL. 😉 We look forward to seeing you at a TSC meet-up soon. 🧡
MEET-UP CHATS
For selected meet-ups, we create temporary attendee chats specifically for the women attending. This keeps meet-up-specific messages together without unnecessarily disturbing everyone else in the wider Community.Once the meet-up is over, the temporary chat will be closed and removed. If you’re removed from an attendee chat, you have not been removed from the TSC Community. It simply means that temporary meet-up chat has finished.
Community Guidelines apply. Once you’ve joined, please check the Community description and pinned information for important TSC updates, guidance and how the Community works.
TSC MILESTONES

Making an impact, no matter how small.
TSC Impact is The Shenanigans Club’s community initiative, created to turn kindness into practical action.Through hands-on community initiatives, we bring people together to support those in need, give back and make a meaningful difference. Our focus is simple: identify where we can help, bring willing people together and turn kindness into action.Because even the smallest act of kindness can make a difference.
CUP OF KINDNESS

Cup of Kindness is TSC Impact’s annual winter initiative, created to offer a simple moment of warmth and care to people experiencing homelessness and others in need during the colder months. We know that a hot drink or something to eat won’t change someone’s circumstances. But in that moment, it can offer warmth, comfort and the simple reminder that someone cares. Each December, we’ll take Cup of Kindness to a London community, bringing together volunteers and supporters to turn a small act of kindness into something meaningful.
SUPPORT CUP OF KINDNESS

FAQ

Got a question? You’re probably not the only one. Here you’ll find the answers to the most common questions about The Shenanigans Club, our meet-ups, community and how everything works.
ABOUT TSC
What is The Shenanigans Club?
The Shenanigans Club is a London-based social club for women 30+ looking for genuine friendships, meaningful experiences and more opportunities to enjoy life. Our meet-ups are intentionally smaller and connection-led, creating an environment where women can actually talk, get to know each other and enjoy the experience without getting lost in a crowd.
Who can join TSC?
TSC is primarily for women aged 30+. If you’re 29 and approaching 30, you’re welcome too.Our regular meet-ups are women-only unless an experience is specifically advertised otherwise.
Can I come alone?
Absolutely. Many women come without knowing anyone beforehand.TSC is designed to make meeting new people feel natural, so arriving alone doesn’t mean spending the experience alone.
How many women attend each meet-up?
TSC is intentionally a small-group social club, so spaces are always limited. We cap each experience based on what we’re doing and what will give women the best opportunity to connect, have real conversations and enjoy themselves. For us, it’s never about getting as many people into a room as possible. We want TSC to feel personal, authentic and comfortable.
How often does TSC host meet-ups?
TSC typically hosts 5–6 official meet-ups each year, with breaks intentionally built into our calendar. We believe in quality over quantity. Each experience takes time, planning and energy to create, and allowing space between meet-ups helps us deliver experiences that feel considered rather than rushed. Those breaks are important for our hosts too rest and wellbeing matter, and we want TSC to remain enjoyable and sustainable for everyone involved. We publish our meet-up dates in advance wherever possible, so save the dates early if you’d like to join us.
Is TSC a membership club?
TSC is not a paid membership club. There are no monthly or annual subscription fees, and joining the TSC Community is free.A small organiser fee applies to every TSC booking. This contributes towards the time, planning, coordination and behind-the-scenes work involved in creating and running our experiences. The organiser fee is reviewed annually and may change in line with rising costs. The current fee will always be clearly shown before you book. For further information about bookings, payments and fees, please see our Terms & Conditions.
Can I become a TSC volunteer co-host?
Yes. We welcome individuals who would like to get more involved and support TSC as a volunteer co-host.
Co-hosting can include helping behind the scenes with meet-up preparation as well as supporting the host and attendees on the day. This is an unpaid volunteer role. If you’re interested, email us below to register your interest and we’ll get back to you within 48 hours.
BOOKINGS & ATTENDANCE
How do I book a meet-up?
Upcoming experiences are shared through the TSC website, Eventbrite, and the community WhatsApp.Each meet-up has limited availability and a booking deadline. If something catches your eye, we recommend booking while spaces are available rather than leaving it until the last minute.
What happens if a meet-up is full?
Some experiences may offer a waitlist.Joining the waitlist means we can contact you if a place becomes available or keep you updated where appropriate. A waitlist place does not guarantee a ticket.
Can I get a refund or transfer my place?
TSC bookings and organiser fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.Please only book when you’re comfortable committing to the experience. If TSC cancels a meet-up, affected attendees will be contacted directly regarding their booking. For full details, please see our Terms & Conditions.
What if I’m running late or can no longer attend?
We understand that plans can change. If you’re running late or can no longer make it, please let us know through your meet-up group and contact the host directly as soon as possible. All TSC meet-ups have a maximum 10-minute grace period. For example, if a meet-up starts at 1:00pm, the latest arrival time is 1:10pm.Some experiences have fixed start times, so unfortunately we cannot delay the group for late arrivals. After the grace period, the meet-up will continue as planned and we cannot guarantee you’ll be able to join.
Can I join or book on the day?
We often receive requests to join on the day of a meet-up. Unfortunately, we don’t accept on-the-day bookings once the booking deadline has closed. Our deadlines allow us to confirm final numbers, prepare properly and make sure everything is ready for the women who have booked in advance and are attending. It’s important to book before the stated deadline, even if spaces appear to still be available. Once bookings have closed, we’re unable to add additional attendees.
TSC COMMUNITY
What is the TSC Community for?
Our WhatsApp Community is the quickest way to stay connected with TSC. We share important updates, meet-up information and reminders, and it gives you easy access to the private group for any meet-up you’re attending. You’re absolutely welcome to chat, connect with other women or suggest your own plans too, but there’s no expectation to constantly participate in a group chat. Its main purpose is to make staying informed and connected to TSC simple.
Do I have to be active in the TSC Community?
You don’t need to constantly message or attend every meet-up…we know life gets busy.We simply ask that you have a genuine interest in participating in TSC when you can. Extended inactivity may result in removal, as the community isn’t intended for joining and indefinitely observing from the sidelines.
How do we communicate on the day of a meet-up?
Each meet-up has a private group for the women attending. It’s your direct way to reach the host, receive important day-of updates and let us know about things such as delays or difficulty finding the group. It keeps everyone attending connected and up to date in one place.
TSC MILESTONES
What are TSC Milestones?
TSC Milestones are our way of recognising the women who continue to show up not only for us but for themselves, connect and become part of the community.Your progress is based on the meet-ups you actually attend, rather than simply booking a ticket.Keep showing up and you might just get your flowers.
TSC TRIPPING
How do TSC trips work?
TSC Tripping brings the same connection-led approach to experiences beyond London. Each trip is planned differently, and you’ll always receive clear information about the experience and what you’ll need to arrange yourself before deciding whether it’s right for you.Visit TSC Tripping to find out more.
EMAILS & COMMUNICATION
How often will I hear from TSC?
We keep our emails relevant… no random emails and no constant spam. Most emails are about upcoming meet-ups, trips, booking reminders and important TSC updates. Around an upcoming meet-up, you may hear from us 2 times in a week, particularly while spaces are available or a booking deadline is approaching.During quieter periods, you may not hear from us at all and that simply means there’s nothing you need to know right now.You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time. If you’ve already booked an experience, we may still contact you with important information relating to your booking.
PHOTOGRAPHY & FILMING
Will photos or videos be taken at TSC meet-ups?
Yes. Photos and videos are regularly captured at TSC meet-ups to document our experiences and share genuine moments from the community across our website and social media. As TSC is a social group, please expect that group photos and filming may naturally take place around you.If you don’t want your face shown in TSC content, please let the host know before the meet-up begins. We’ll make reasonable adjustments, such as avoiding identifiable close-ups, filming you from behind or blurring your face in content shared publicly. We’ll respect your preference, but this may not mean excluding you from every group shot entirely, particularly during shared activities where everyone is together.
